School Wellness Programming
Beach Kids Yoga offers in school & after school wellness programming for pre-K to 12th grade that is customizable to meet the specific needs of your school. Our wellness programming aims to enhance students physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.
Through engaging activities and age-appropriate exercises, our programs focus on promoting body awareness, improving concentration, cultivating self-regulation, self confidence, resiliency and nurturing a sense of inner calm.
The yoga curriculum is evidence-based and aligned with SEL competencies from CASEL (The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning). Our curriculum also meets national & international PE & health standards while teaching from a trauma informed lens.
Our in school wellness programs and extracurricular after school programs can be designed to run in 4,6 or 8 week series, on a quarterly or annual basis.
American Martyrs Kids Yoga Club (K–3)
Our after-school yoga program is designed specifically for Kindergarten through 3rd grade students at American Martyrs! Over 7 weeks, children will explore a playful blend of yoga, mindfulness activities, arts & crafts, and field games—with time outdoors whenever possible.
Rooted in social-emotional learning (SEL) and trauma-informed practices, this class supports students in building strength, focus, resilience, emotional awareness, and self-regulation—all while having fun and expressing creativity.
Trimester 2 Schedule:
Fridays • 12:45–1:45 PM • Dec 5 – Feb 20
Our instructors will be on campus to walk students from class at 12:30 PM.
All equipment and supplies are included.
